Adult Faith Formation -- All the rest of us!
As Catholics we are called to be lifelong learners, always seeking to know more about our God and our faith. Here are
a number of options for you:

Bible Study Groups at St. Mary’s:
  • Monday mornings at 10 AM in the Parish Center
  • Monday afternoons at 1 PM in the Parish Center
  • The first Tuesday of each month at 7 PM in the Rectory

Small Faith-Sharing Groups: During the Fall our small groups will  meet together to study the minor prophets -
Amos, Hosea, and Micah and Their Call for Justice. Who were they?  What was happening in their time?  How
do their words and actions fit with us today?
The book is designed for six-sessions, so it fits neatly into the plan we’ve
used previously.  We will have
sign-up for small faith-sharing groups the weekends of August 25-26, September 1-2 and
8-9. Groups will begin to meet the week of September 24.

We strongly urge you to consider becoming part of a small group.  It is a comfortable way to meet others, grow as a
community, and develop spiritually. You may remain part of a current group or join an entirely new group. Think
about the day of the week and time of day that best fits your schedule. List those preferences on your sign-up sheet.
Together let us “grow in our faith and understanding.

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults): If you have never been baptized, were baptized in another faith
tradition, or were baptized Catholic but never confirmed, this process will lead you to full membership in the Roman
Catholic Church.  With folks searching like yourself, you will meet weekly to learn, pray, study, and share. Then at
Easter you will receive the sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist). If you are interested in the RCIA process,
please call Rita at the Parish Office 320-679-1593. Sessions will begin in early October.
~ Confirmation Students  ~

begin preparation toward Confirmation.
